MotorSports: Newman Heads Home
After last Monday’s crash on the last lap of the Daytona 500, many folks in and around motorsports were rightly concerned with the well-being of Ryan Newman. A sense of foreboding increased once the upright car was covered by a tarp, then everyone waited for an exceeding long of time to hear that he was out of the car, and off to a hospital in Daytona Beach. Thankfully, two days later, he’s not only up and around, but he’s headed home.
Known to be one of the ‘good guys’ in the paddock, everyone was happy to see him walking out of the hospital with his kids in tow.
