Michelin Intros New Tires at MotoE World Cup

Bioshock

Michelin used the MotoE World Cup to drop a new line of environmentally-respectful tires paired with electric motorcycles. Here’s a highlight reel from the latest season of the FIM Enel MotoE World Cup to go with.

The new range of Michelin Power Slicks developed for the 2020 championship featured new constructions and new front and rear compounds ensured more grip. The new range also incorporates regenerated materials and biomaterials, thereby fitting perfectly with Groupe Michelin’s ‘Everything Sustainable’ plan. Indeed, Michelin uses MotoE as a high-tech lab for the development of increasingly efficient, durable and environmentally-respectful road tires for its customers.

The success enjoyed by the 2020 FIM MotoE World Cup was extremely rewarding. Furthermore, the new-spec Michelin Slick MotoE played its part in the process too. It met the specific needs of the Energica Ego Corsa-designed (and made) all-electric motorbikes that star in the series.
